I ranted in a
previous blog post about how bad the calls from collectors were after getting a new phone from AT&T. I'm doing this post so that it goes on record that HSBC Bank plays dirty. The number 1-800-395-2274 suddenly began calling several times a day. They didn't respond when we answered, though you could tell someone was there at first. It just went into some beeping mode after a few moments. I called the number and you get a rude message to enter your account number. They don't even identify the company name at this point. I just waited and someone answered wanting our account number, this time identifying it as HSBC. I already knew who owned the number because a simple internet search shows articles like this one:
1-800-395-2274, or how HSBC earns a black eye in America
I've never had an account with HSBC, but now you can be sure I'll never willingly open one... What kind of depraved mind thinks this is good business practice?
